Beef Stew

I’ve made this several times now and have finally tweaked it to find the flavor combo I like best. This stew is absolutely perfect for the fall and winter months, is a super easy crock pot meal, and warms your insides like a charm. I usually enjoy it with my favorite cornbread muffins. (awesome recipe to follow)

Beef Stew

2 lbs cubed beef stew meat
4 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
2 celery stalks, sliced
1 large russet potato, peeled and cubed
1/2 tsp salt,
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 cans of beef broth (14 oz cans)
1 bay leaf
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Trim the beef of fat and cook the meat in a pan. Put the cooked beef and all other ingredients into a crock pot and cook on high for 4-6 hours. Add water if it’s too thick.
